ABOUT THE EXPANDING TABLE

This table was a project that I took on for my sister and her family. It was an anniversary present to each other and they wanted it to be something special. I created it out of maple plywood and used walnut hardwood to edge each of the pieces. The stand is made out of maple hardwood that was turned on a lathe to create the shape. My sister has a large family and didn't want table legs to get in the way of chairs.
